The Hall of Fame Ceremony also serves as a fundraiser for the Paul Robeson Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduates based on academic promise and financial need, with preference given to students of African-American/black descent. The scholarship is in honor of Rutgers' most famous graduate, Paul Robeson, Jr. Paul Robeson graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1919.
Incorporated in 2006, the Rutgers African American Alumni Alliance (RAAA), Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and donations are 100% tax deductible and will be recognized on our website.
