Dallas A. Grundy is a leader who has consistently added value to individuals, families, and communities, helping them to improve their quality of life, to set and reach goals and to build platforms for continuous growth. His academic, professional and personal accomplishments reflect his commitment to this mission locally and nationally.

After earning his BS in civil engineering from Rutgers' School of Engineering in 1995 and his MBA in management information systems and marketing from Rutgers' School of Business in 1998, Grundy embarked on a successful career as an entrepreneur whose business endeavors often overlapped his civic responsibility. As the chief operating officer of BCT Partners-which he co-founded with Rutgers' College of Engineering classmates Randal Pinkett, Lawrence Hibbert and Jeffrey Robinson-Grundy led the operations of this consulting firm providing technology solutions in the private and public sectors.

Dallas' entrepreneurial experiences have exposed him to key leadership roles while serving the needs of many Fortune 500 corporations; nonprofit organizations; and educational and government institutions. Dallas also has extensive and diverse experience in strategic management and organizational development as Staff Operations Manager at Lucent Technologies, where he managed the strategic staffing programs and initiatives for Lucent's 80 person Optical Networking Market Development Group which included Recruitment and Training, Rewards and Recognition, Mentoring, and New Employee Orientation programs.

As a community and civic leader, he has served as a tutor for public-school children, a mentor for young entrepreneurs, a director of youth programs at his church. Dallas was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in the historic community of Lawnside, NJ where he serves as an advocate for the young people of his hometown. He also lends his business acumen to the boards of several nonprofit organizations, including Renaissance Economic Development Corporation, which spurs economic development through real-estate and property management. He has also served as the chairperson for the FBC Technology Advisory Board, which sets and reviews all policy relating to technology support for four social service organizations, a church staff and more than 6,000 members affiliated with First Baptist Church in Somerset, New Jersey.

Dallas has addressed diverse audiences of students, emerging professionals, and seasoned executives at various venues. He has mentored aspiring entrepreneurs while assisting in the development of their respective businesses. He was instrumental in implementing New Jersey's first statewide entrepreneurial development conference which exposed entrepreneurial career tracks to New Jersey high school students. Dallas is listed in Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who Among African-Americans Entrepreneurs. In recognition of his many contributions, the Partnership for New Jersey selected Grundy as a 2005 Fellow of the Leadership New Jersey Program.

As Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Education, the school's chief nonacademic officer, he leads a business administration and information technology team responsible for accounting, finance, human resources, administration, facilities, and support of GSE networks, databases, and web sites.

Dallas currently resides in Somerset, New Jersey and is pursuing a doctoral degree. He attends First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens in Somerset. Dallas believes that the difference in his life has been his support foundation consisting of what he calls the 3 F's: faith, family (including friends) and focus.
