The Hall of Fame committee will select Rutgers University graduates who have distinguished themselves by contributions they have made to the community, to the University or in their fields of endeavor; by the leadership they have exhibited; and by the general benefits to the larger society resulting from their efforts. The following categories are guidelines for the fields to be considered:

Selection

Upon selection, nominees must be able to attend the award dinner or first available runners up will receive the award (unless awarded posthumously). However, under extenuating circumstances, as determined by the committee, an award may be given in absentia. If a nominee who is selected and declines the award will forfeit consideration for future selection except for reasons approved by the selection committee.

Any nominations that did not receive awards will be held for consideration for the following year or will be submitted for consideration in the Rutgers University Hall of Distinguished Alumni.

You may also nominate a non-graduate for Honorary Lifetime Membership. The designation is reserved for those who go 'above and beyond' to ensure the success of Rutgers students and faculty.
