RAAA Hall of Fame

The Rutgers African-American Alumni Alliance (RAAA) Hall of Fame induction ceremony is an awards dinner and fundraising event that honors the achievements of graduates of African descent from Rutgers University and raises funds to support student scholarships.The RAAA Hall of Fame promotes interaction between students, alumni and administration. This event encourages students and young alumni and the Rutgers Community to draw from their experiences at Rutgers to succeed academically, professionally, and personally.

The goals of this event are to:

Workshops is presented by Sharon D. Hubberman, President and CEO of S.D. Widman Inc. Private Wealth Advisory. Interactive sessions will help you evaluate your financial health. If you are overwhelmed by financial planning, join us in an intimate classroom setting where we will create realistic plans for financial success.

Topics include: What is our relationship with money?, Are you making your money work for you?,SMART: How to do a Budget, and Goal Setting and Identification for financial health and fitness?

The session is conduced by Terrence Cook (LC '90), the Senior Trial Attorney for the Philadelphia office of the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission). Learn the definitions of harassment and discrimination, Federal and State Employment Law and how the EEOC can help.

Black Enterprise Magazine presents the Wealth Building workshop as part of their Black Wealth Building Initiative. Participants start on the path to financial empowerment as they learn the principles of wealth and stages of wealth accumulation.
